The Sills are Blair Clark (vocals/guitar/songwriter), Christopher Moore (banjo/guitar), Dave Ross (drums), Henrieta Tornyai (vocals/bass) and James McKiernan (guitar). We are based in Madison, Wisconsin.

This first release for the six local musicians has a strange genre-bending sound full of Gospel turned road house, Folk dressed up as jazz standards and barely concealing a tainted gypsy ancestry.

Blair Clark’s words and music, interpreted by the groups eclectic tastes lead you on a wild ride through town and down back alleys and then dump you out somewhere in the country.

Recorded in Madison at The Sound Garden Studio, the CD is down-home and up-town, local, regional and universal.
